Friday was a HUGE SUCCESS! Thank you all so much for coming out and hearing us play. Also special thanks to Mild Mallard for their amazing sound, it was such a blessing to hear them do their thing!

I love playing at the honeymoon, it's such an intimate space and everyone is always so engaged throughout the duration of the set. Through fast-paced yodels to slow western ballads, the energy was perfect.

I am so grateful to God for this opportunity to play music for people, it is so much fun, and the people I have met during this time have been true gifts. I don't think I would believe you if you told me 5 years ago that I would get to meet all these amazing people and share the stage with them. I am so thankful!

In all seasons, it's important to remember the presence of God in our lives. He doesn't go away when times are tough, in fact its those times when he wants us to draw nearest to him. I certainly have had my fair share of tough times, and I felt like God was nowhere to be seen. I had to learn that often times, God's voice is quiet. With so many distractions and coping mechanisms, it can be hard to hone in and hear him speaking.

But it's these fun times that I also rejoice in for I am once again reminded that he has got me in his hands, and through any difficult circumstance, I will always come out the other side better than I was before if I continue to trust his will always.

Psalm 46:1-3

God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging.
